WORKAMPER NEWS PRESIDENT & DIRECTOR OF POSSIBILITIES
Steve and his bride of 33 years, Kathy Jo, purchased Workamper News in 2005. Prior to owning Workamper News, Steve was the HR Director at Adventureland Amusement Park in Altoona, IA. During his 15-year tenure he developed one of the larger, more successful Workamper programs in the U.S. Over the years, Steve personally accomplished well over 11,000 Workamper interviews and hired over 6,000. Over the past ten years, Steve has developed numerous new programs and continues to be an advocate for education, which stems from his seven years of teaching high school right out of college. Some of the latest developments from Steve are the RVing Lifestyle Ambassador Program and the Small Biz RVer School. In partnership with Terry Cooper, the Texas RV Professor, Steve helped to develop RV maintenance education programs and the National RV Inspectors Association. These ventures took Steve and Kathy Jo across America in their motorhome over three years promoting RV maintenance education, RV inspections, and Workamping.
