Sites are $17-22 per night and include 30/50 amp service and water. There are also three locally-owned campgrounds with full hookups. In the history of Workamper Rendezvous, there has never been an RVer who could not find an RV site. There are hundreds of sites between the five+ campgrounds in the local community.
There are multiple hotels/motels in Heber Springs. Visit the Location page for an overview. At the Quality Inn, we have reserved a room block with discounted pricing for attendees. Standard, double, and king bed rooms are available. Please mention the Workamper Rendezvous for special pricing.
It’s likely, but it depends on when you’re coming to town. You can’t make reservations at the Corps campgrounds since October is outside of their normal operating season. The number of sites available at Dam Site is going to be based on when you get here, and also if any locals happen to be camping the weekend before Rendezvous. If you are not coming in until Monday, Oct. 15th – have a plan B. Wagon Circle RV Park, USACE JFK, USACE Heber Springs Campground are all good plan Bs. Contact info for all of the campgrounds can be found on the Location page. Usually, about 80 RVs come in to Heber Springs for this event. Wherever you end up camping, you will be with other Rendezvous attendees.
Yes! Book your site for a few days before the event and check out the local area! Stay for a few days after and see a few sights in the southern Ozarks! Since camp sites at the US Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds are first-come, first-serve, many attendees who choose to camp there arrive to Heber Springs early for prime-pick of the available camp sites.

Dress code is casual – be comfortable but appropriate. The Community Center likes to keep the A/C cranked so it’s usually pretty cool (or comfortable, depending on how you run). For outdoor activities, you may need a jacket for our Arkansas fall weather.
We will have breakfast items, coffee and tea available each day, as well as a water station throughout the event. Food provided will range from baked potatoes to brisket. Salad is usually an option as a side dish, but we are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
If you’re staying at one of the locally-owned campgrounds or hotels, they will likely receive a package for you – just be sure to ask for which address to use. If staying at a Corps campground, you can have your package sent to the Workamper News office. Please contact the office (firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-446-5627) to let us know and we will provide you with the mailing address you can use. (The WKN office does not receive mail or FedEx/UPS on weekends.)
