FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RENDEZVOUS EVENT
Sorry, no. We do not livestream the Workamper Rendezvous to the internet due to complexity and variety of activities. We feel attendees get so much more value by attending the event in-person.

Short answer: No. For the foreseeable future, we will continue to have Rendezvous in October in Arkansas.
Long answer: Workamper News was started and resides in the small town of Heber Springs, located in central Arkansas. Our town built a wonderful community center complete with big meeting rooms. Pine tree forests, a large lake, and a trout-filled river creates beautiful settings for multiple RV campgrounds. We think we live in a beautiful area, and we enjoy sharing it with you!
We have all of the accommodations needed to facilitate the event successfully. Having the event in our hometown allows for all of our staff to attend and help out. All of this helps keep our costs down, so we can make our attendee ticket prices very reasonable.
We have produced events a few times in other locations/dates - in 2008 and late 2013/early 2014. We held educational seminars and job fairs in southern states in the winter. The coordination and costs for us were more challenging, and these events had less interest and attendance despite doing similar marketing to what we do for Rendezvous. So for now, we’ll continue hosting you in our hometown.
Current Workamper News Platinum members receive a $20/person discount. Please login to www.workamper.com On the Dashboard, click on the "Platinum Discounts" button. Here you'll find a unique coupon code. Enter that code in the checkout process here on the Rendezvous website. Discount only applies to registration; it is not applicable to bonus sessions.

Once you successfully submit your registration here on the website or by calling in to the WKN office, you are good to go! We will not mail you anything, and you will not need to show us your confirmation email when you check-in.
Attendees will be sent multiple emails in the months before the event - highlighting info we've shared here on the website, notifying you of any changes/updates, the final schedule, etc. If you are not receiving any emails about Rendezvous, please check your spam/junk folder first and then contact us. We will also share similar info in our 2020 attendee Facebook group here.
We will send you a link to fill out an attendee survey - this will give us your tshirt size, the name you want on your name tag, and some other details.
We will also reach out to all registrants via phone before the event to make sure you are ready to rock 'n roll!
We have this question here because every year prior to 2020, COE Dam Site was first-come, first-served. For 2020, all COE campgrounds REQUIRE RESERVATIONS. Please submit your reservation at least 4 business days prior to your arrival date.
The number of sites available at Dam Site is going to be based on when you make your reservation and also if any locals/tourists have already reserved sites for the same time.
There are multiple camping options and more than enough sites for attendees. Contact info for all of the campgrounds can be found on the LODGING page. Usually, about 80 RVs come in to Heber Springs for this event. Wherever you end up camping, you will be with other Rendezvous attendees.
Check out the tentative SCHEDULE here. We know our schedule is rigorous on quite a few of the days, but we do try to make the lunch time period long enough that you could scoot away to your lodging to give some attention to your pet and get back. Most lodging locations are less than 10 minutes from the Community Center. But it depends on the needs of your pet. If your pet(s) need more engagement, but you don't want to miss out on a minute of any event activity, then please consider a local pet-sitter!
